The Mighty Zambezi Wedding – Part 4 | Mark & Maria’s Wedding Day {Victoria Falls National Park, Zimbabwe}

Where do I even begin to tell you about this wedding? The wedding that gathered guests from around the world to the magnificent Victoria Falls for a week of fun and local festivities. The wedding of African sunset engagement shoots, river cruises and rehearsal dinners full of drum circles and dancing. A beautiful, first look in the bush. A ceremony on the banks of the mighty Zambezi river. A sunset cruise full of laughs. A marimba-filled reception welcome. {A visit from resident croc Sushi, who loves music}. Dancing until dawn. But mostly, the wedding of two of the most magnificent people on the planet. Maria. Beautiful, serene, happy & excited Maria. And Mark. Her calm, handsome, funny counter-part. I love that across oceans, these two found each other. I love that he makes her nose crinkle when she laughs. I love that she adds a certain sparkle to his eyes. And I loved every second of telling their “wedding week” story.

Mark & Maria, thank you. A million times over. For trusting me with your day. For flying me {& my handsome assistant} in to tell your story and making us feel so welcome & relaxed. We absolutely loved the mini-holiday, adventuring around beautiful Vic Falls & meeting all your crazy-awesome guests. It was such fun.
