When it comes to Lattes and all things Pizza, sure, but good ingredients when it comes to love? Yes, friends, yes they do matter a whole lot!
Nicole & Dave? They have just the ones it takes. These two are the sweetest pair who simply ooze adoration for each other and oh man, you should just hear how he makes her giggle.
They’ll be jetting off to Mexico in the fall for their destination wedding but wanted to bring in an element of their own neighbourhood for their engagement session.
So we met up on a chilly February morning for some fun in the spot where they brunch together most weekends. The spot where they sip Lattes and smooch at the window. The spot that makes up part of their beautiful story. Enjoy!

- Start off your session in your formal outfit, then towards the end of your session, pop into a crowded restaurant to warm up, change and finish up in a more casual look. This will give you a variety of images and add an element of “real life” to your shoot.
- Talking of real! It really brings the magic. Book a photographer that makes you feel comfortable (because the first 10 – 15 minutes will have you feeling like a goofy dork, it’s ok). I love how Nicole brought her favourite purple into both their looks in such a stylish, subtle way. She also has a scarf collection that gives mine a run for it’s money! Girl after my own heart!
HUGE thanks to the lovely staff at Bread Bar who held the window table for us during a busy Saturday and to the lovely family at the next table who graciously ducked out the way for a few shots and smooches at the window! I’m pretty sure I looked like a crazy paparazzo but for these two and their smiles? Any day! xx
