When I sat down to do this post today I had to restrain myself from writing as though I’ve known these two forever…they are THAT easy to know. With Luke working overseas and Margot in Namibia, it all started with a few emails back and forth, but even on paper, I just knew. I mean, Margot’s emails are sprinkled with smiley faces, she counts down like a girl after my own heart and she set up a special skype date just so they could look at these images together from across the seas! *goosebumps & happy tears!*
When we met up in Cape Town for our initial coffee and consultation, I walked away feeling like I had just hung out with old friends, but when I drove home from their engagement shoot, I knew I had just made new ones. Luke & Margot, thank you! For sharing your story, making me laugh until my sides hurt, being so awesomely in love for my camera and for asking me to tell your love story in a few weeks time…I just can’t wait!
