When I shot Sean & Danusia’s engagement shoot last month, I knew their wedding was going to be special…but it really was so much more!
Quiet singing could be heard from the bridal suite as Danusia calmly prepared for the day she had spent the last few months meticulously planning. Sean’s boys gathered around him, laughing and joking as school mates who would now be the men to stand next to him in his marriage. Family traditions and touches of his and her heritage were sprinkled throughout the day and as their friends and family gathered to watch them say yes to forever, they sang “glorious day.” And the day was just that. Joyful. Pure. Glorious.
Sean & Danusia, thank you for sharing your day with me. It was an honour to document your love. Sean, I wish you a lifetime of looking at your wife with such pride. Danusia, I hope for millions of moments that make your eyes sparkle with love for your husband. Mr & Mrs Ward, may every day forward be just as glorious as this one.
