I said this when I posted their sneak peek a few days after their wedding, but I’ll totally say it again.
Siraj and Sonya have the type of love that makes you believe in all that’s good in this world. Together they are calm, yet crazy in love. Holding hands they bounce through this life to the beat of their own music. It truly is something to behold, and every word spoken throughout their day just confirmed what I already knew. That these two were firstly, put on this earth for one another and secondly, that the people who they have surrounded themselves with believe in them, whole heartedly.
There was the threat of rain on their day, but Sonya was so calm and collected and determined that everything would be alright (I happy danced that it held out, I’m not going to lie!) I arrived to Siraj putting the finishing touches to the reception tables (can we say woodland fairytale perfection?) And after a sweet and simple ceremony, delicious food from The Bridge and a casual groom speech serenade (I mean really!!), the new Mr & Mrs danced into the evening surrounded by so much love and support.
I loved everything about this day and Siraj & Sonya, I’m so thankful that I was back in South Africa to tell your sweet story. I wish you a lifetime filled with music that keeps you moving, weeks of forehead kisses and days song-singing to one another.
P.S. Huge thanks to Jean of Phlux Photography for being my rocking right hand lady for the day and to the suppliers who brought this day together so beautifully. List of contacts available at the end of the post.
xx
