He proposed at Christmas and she really wanted snowflakes for their engagement session. Well, winter’s kinda kept us on our toes this year hasn’t it! But we decided to set a date to meet up for their Toronto engagement session and hope for the best anyway.
Something I’m excited to offer my clients, going forward, is the chance to start off their session in the comfort of their own homes to document a little bit of real-life love. Think tea on the couch/loving on fur-babies/just a chance to remember that first house together. Anything that shows what’s important to their story together.
Marie & Stefan live in a beautiful condo in downtown Toronto with their inquisitive fur babies (see the photobomb below!) After some snuggles and warm tea on their sofa, we headed out into the chill for a Saturday adventure around their neighbourhood to take in the Christmas festivities around the city. And the snowflakes? Oh, they just happened to show up for exactly two minutes while we were in front of a perfectly lit Christmas tree. Right? I was THAT excited too.
Oh man, these guys are the sweetest pair! Since meeting at work a couple of years ago, they’re now planning their summer wedding at Airship 37 later this year, with the help from the lovely KJ & CO, and I can’t wait to continue their story then!

Stefan performs in a band and they have a bunch of super creative friends, including the one who designed this custom beauty JUST for Marie.
After our adventure around the city, we wrapped up the evening in their formal look before Marie & Stefan headed out on a date night. Now that, ladies and gents, is how you rock an engagement session!
