If every man treated their woman like Louis treats Jenny, the world would be a marvelous place! Really! The love, care and tenderness this man shows is inspiring and totally wonderful to watch. Then combine this love with an exquisite woman who has the kindest heart, and you get what’s called a little bit of magic.
On the drive out to Velddrif last weekend, I ran through my shot list in my head, had a little chat with the butterflies that always go a mad in my stomach before a wedding, and told my assistant about Louis & Jenny. When I first met them last year while I was up in Joburg, Jenny excitedly told me all the wedding plans, how much fun her bridesmaids were and how she couldn’t wait for a weekend away of celebrating with their family and friends. Louis sat back and listened, with a look of amazement & adoration on his face. After emails and planning back and forth, I got to witness this look again at their engagement shoot a couple of months later and throughout their wedding day, he wore the very same one : the look of deep, adoring love.
Louis & Jenny, a little piece of my heart will always belong to your day. It was such a privilege to be able to document your love, and an even bigger honor to be included in your Thank You speech. Jenny, I wish you a forever of being spoilt, adored and deeply loved. Louis, I hope your love is always met with excitement and joy.
